Combined Foils

We also call them “sandwich foils”, because they are formed by combining two different materials. One component is always polyethylene, while the other component depends on required properties – e.g., compatibility with the material, vapor tightness, waterproofness, flame resistance. It is therefore possible to use a combination of polyethylene with a paper, Mirelon, membrane.

Properties of combined foils

These foils are mostly used as packaging material for spacers, cover sheets, or as the actual packaging of goods. The most frequent requirement is the protection of the packaged item on one side of the foil and watertightness and/or vapor-tightness on the other side of the foil. The combination of two different materials also results in high strength.

Individual Approach
Combined Foils

Our selection of combined foils:

Fabric 748 + paper

Special high-strength packaging foil. Used, for example, for sheets metal packaging.

Fabric 700 + paper (paper reinforced with leno fabric)

Packaging paper foil reinforced with leno weave, with lower strength. Used in transport with lower requirements for protection of packaged parts, e.g. for sheets metal.

Mirelon with laminated foil

Special packaging foil gentle to the packaged material. This material is used for packaging in the automotive industry. Mirelon is sensitive to the packaged material and protects it against damage.

Tyvek with laminated foil

Special packaging foil gentle to the packaged material. This material is used for packaging in the automotive industry. Mirelon is sensitive to the packaged material and protects it against damage.

Jednostranně kašírovaný Pegatex

One-side laminated Pegatex

Special vapor-tight packaging foil gentle to the packaged material. This material is used for packaging in the automotive industry. Mirelon is sensitive to the packaged material and protects it against damage.

Netkaná textilie Pegatex s čirým kašírem

Plain laminated non-woven fabric Pegatex

Non-woven fabric weighing 40 g/m2, on which a one-sided 80 g/m2 LDPE liner is applied. This fabric is most often used in the automotive industry to produce packaging to protect parts from scratches and at the same time prevent moisture from penetrating the packaged part from outside.
