Roofing Foils

Underlayment roofing foil protects the wooden parts of the roof structure and provides thermal insulation against the penetration of water and water vapor produced by human activities inside buildings. And it further prevents the penetration of water, snow, wind, and dirt from the outside into the under-roof spaces.

The foils are supplied in rolls with a width of 1.5 m and a length of 50 m.

If the purchased foil is not installed immediately, we recommend storing the rolls in a vertical position without exposure to sunlight and UV radiation.

SVITAPFOL N vapor barrier foil

SVITAPFOL N underlayment roofing foil is a three-layer vapor barrier consisting of a high-strength polyethylene grid (HDPE) with polyethylene foil (LDPE) layers on both sides. It is used as an effective protection of thermal insulation against water vapor penetration.

SVITAPFOL AL N reflective vapor barrier foil

SVITAPFOL AL N underlayment roofing foil is a three-layer reflective vapor barrier consisting of a high-strength polyethylene grid (HDPE) with a polyethylene foil (LDPE) layer and aluminum foil. It is used as an efficient protection against water vapor penetration into the thermal insulation. The aluminum layer reflects radiant heat back into the interior, thus increasing the thermal insulation properties of the roof structure.

Alpet reflective vapor barrier foil

Four-layer material - polyethylene grid (HDPE), polyethylene foil (LDPE), and polyester foil with vapor-deposited aluminum - guarantees high reflectivity (reflects the radiant component of heat back into the interior) as well as higher impermeability to water and water vapor. When properly installed, it protects both the thermal insulation and the roof trusses from moisture.
