Greenhouse Foils

Greenhouse foil is a flat textile, consisting of HDPE strips coated with an LDPE layer.

Strength

Thanks to the reinforcing grid, it is considerably stronger than ordinary foils. Individual types differ in weave, picks per inch, appearance, weight, width, and the contents of additives. Color variants are also possible.

Resistance

Under normal conditions and if contact with chemicals is avoided, the service life can be more than 4 years. All foils contain UV stabilizers.

Broad temperature range

Our greenhouse foil can normally be used at temperatures from -50 to +70 °C. Attention: A minimum distance of 1 m from any heat source must be maintained at all time. The foil has virtually zero moisture absorption capacity.

Not only the production of yard goods, but also finished products

In addition to the yard goods, we also offer processed greenhouse foil products – standardized types of plastic greenhouses.

We normally produce 4 types of materials suitable for plastic greenhouses

Foil 748

Common material for the production of plastic greenhouses with a longer service life. It is one of the most popular types of our foils. We recommend using the optional ANTIFOG treatment, which prevents misting, i.e., the droplets slowly run down the surface of the foil instead of dripping on the plants. This contributes to significantly better light transmission and prevents the fungal diseases of plants. This material has a high durability and standard transparency thanks to the canvas weave.

Foil 747

This is the strongest and toughest material from our offer, thanks to the denser weave and higher weight. The increased density of the woven strips results in lower transparency; but, a long service life is thus guaranteed.

Weight 175 g/m2 165 g/m2

Thermal stability from -50 to +70 °C from -50 to +70 °C

Foil 700

Used in the production of foils for plastic greenhouses with a shorter service life. This is one of the cheapest materials that can be used for the production of plastic greenhouses and covering sheets. It has a shorter service life due to its lower weight and leno weave.

Foil widths 100 a 150 cm
Weight 110 g/m2
Grid type leno fabric 1×1 cm
Thermal stability from -50 to +70 °C

Foil 699

Uses leno weave (mesh approx. 1×1 cm) and a thicker LDPE layer, which contributes to the longer service life of the foil despite employing leno fabric, which has a lower strength. Utilization of the leno weave contributes to higher transparency of the foil. Offers a longer service life, higher mechanical resistance, and transparency.
